Jordi Utiel, VSN's CEO: IBC 2014 is the perfect place for VSNs solutions 16 September 2014For the tenth consecutive year, VSN has presented at IBC 2014 the new features of its broadcast solutions for PAM, MAM & BPM; News & Live Production and MCR Automation & Distribution. We are very pleased with how the event has gone for us, said Jordi Utiel, president and CEO of VSN, because we have managed to position our solutions once again in the international market and to successfully communicate our business vision and our renewed strategy marketing to the sector.

During the tradeshow, many have been the new features presented by VSN. Amsterdam has been the stage chosen by VSN to show its Media and Business process solution's new UI, designed to greatly improve user experience and system operability. Along with this, VSNEXPLORER s PAM module, aimed at production environments, and VSNLIVECOM, studio playout software, have also featured for the first time at IBC, gaining a lot of attention from visitors.

"The broadcast industry is changing very fast and VSN is committed to R+D and technological innovation to adapt our solutions to the market needs," continues Utiel. "IBC 2014 is the perfect place to show everything that VSN's portfolio can achieve for an audiovisual company, from advanced media management to MCR automation and state-of-the-art tools for news and live events production environments .

This year, the traditional VSN Partner Meeting reached more than 50 attendants, that got to know all about the latest features of VSN's portfolio of solutions and the renewed marketing strategy that the company is implementing, with the announcement of a new corporative Website. "We continue with our policy of proactive and quality customer support, and we are committed to listening to our customers and to develop a fluent and constant conversation with the industry," says Jordi Capdevila, VSN's Director of Marketing.

Also, in this edition VSN participated in the prestigious IBC Workflow Solutions sessions that are held every year at the time of the exhibition with a conference called MAM&BPM: How to Orchestrate and Optimize Media Workflows". Roberto Duif, International Channel Manager at VSN, and Alfredo Blanco, Head Project Manager at Telson, showed how VSN s MAM & BPM solution helped Telson, one of the main broadcast facilities in Spain, to implement an automated platform to manage all processes related with ingest, QC, and delivery of broadcast materials as part of a playout outsourcing of four Turner International channels.

Blanco confirmed during the conference that VSN has given us all the support and the advice necessary, in a really short time, to determine BPs, order the processes and launch the channels to air. We want this systems to be implemented in all the company s departments .

We made important contacts and discussed projects, presented the lastest features of our portfolio of solutions, participated in the very first line of IBC's conferences and communicated our future business vision to the sector , declares Jordi Utiel. It has been great, and we are looking forward for IBC 2015 .
