METLIFE NAMED AMONG TOP 50 ORGANIZATIONS FOR MULTICULTURAL BUSINE OPPORTUNITIES

NEW YORK, March 18, 2015 - MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) announced today that it has been selected as one of Americas Top 50 Organizations for Multicultural Business Opportunities by DiversityBusiness.com. MetLife is being acknowledged for a second year in a row for its commitment to doing business with a diverse group of suppliers.

The Div50 list features the Top 50 Corporations that have emerged as leaders in providing business opportunities to women - and minority-owned businesses. This recognition is based on factors such as the volume, consistency and quality of business opportunities a company grants to multicultural suppliers, as measured by an annual survey of women and minority-owned businesses conducted by DiversityBusiness.com.
