RT Software, will demonstrate the full capabilities of 4K UHD graphics offerings at this year s NAB2016.
The company will showcase its latest solutions that deliver the ultimate in sports graphics and telestration, overlays, virtual studio and Augmented Reality, and 4K stitch.
On display at RT Software s booth will be the new tOG-Sports, a cloud-based version of the company s renowned telestration system with 4K support. The solution takes analysis in sports graphics to the next level, and visitors to the booth will see the new data-rich graphics based on an Opta integration with heat maps, pass maps, shots on goal and progression.
For overlays, RT Software will show how its implementation of Physically Based Rendering (PBR) can enhance top end graphics with its tOG-3d Pro product, and for more basic applications, its new low-cost, easy to use tOG-2d solution will also be on display.
Also featured is the in virtual studio and Augmented Reality applications and the company s tOG-VR will also be in action displaying real broadcast examples of extremely high quality AR graphics from Europe s first 4K broadcaster, BT Sport.
Attendees will also find RT Software s tOG-Vista, the multi-camera 4K stitch solution that creates a panoramic live view of a sporting event and allows operators to select HD areas of interest for transmission. Recent field tests in the US and the UK have demonstrated the full capabilities of the solution, how it can address issues such as off-camera incidents, deliver higher production values for broadcasters on tight budgets and make an analysis on the entire field of play possible.
Elsewhere on the NAB floor, RT Software solutions will be integrated with systems on the AJA booth and the Snell Advanced Media (SAM) booth. In action on the AJA booth, RTSoftware s tOG-3d Pro and tOG-Sports will show 4K UHD graphics featuring full 10 bit colour rendering.
SAM will use RT Software s web-based OEM real time graphics embedded in its market-leading ICE Channel in a Box to demonstrate how live graphics can be played to air from a web page anywhere within a channel s infrastructure, without the need for a secondary graphics platform. Broadcasters will be able to see how these playout graphics can be used in live programming to achieve significant savings in cost, rack space and power.
The SAM booth will also show tOG-Sports and 4K stitch integrated with the LiveTouch replay server the demos will includes tOG-Sports adding a tightly integrated telestration capability to LiveTouch and how the stitch solution enables telestration analysis to the entire pitch on replays during a live game.
RT Software s booth and its full range of solutions will be on booth SL5223 at NAB show, Las Vegas Convention Centre, 16-21 April 2016.
