COBALT ARIA AUD-MON Receives Best of Show Awards at ISE 2...

Cobalt Digital, the leading designer and manufacturer of award-winning ST 2110 and SDI signal processing products, and a founding partner in the openGear initiative, has announced that its COBALT ARIA AUD-MON audio monitor has won in this year's Best of Show Awards at ISE within the AVTechnology category.

The Best of Show Awards distinguish and honour the brands behind the best new pro AV products and solutions on the market and on display at this year's ISE show. Judged by a panel of industry experts and editorial teams, each award submission is reviewed on product feature set, ease of use, innovation, and uniqueness within the market. The ARIA AUD-MON - the industry's only IPMX-compliant audio monitor - easily met the criteria.

AUD-MON features best-in-class sound monitoring and 16 SDI or 64 MADI metering from a compact rack-mount form-factor. Sound is produced by an efficient Class-D amplifier with DSP and specially selected speaker components. Ideal for Pro AV environments migrating toward IP-based operations, the easy-to-use and customizable touch display front panel is designed for simple and intuitive operation and is available with eight individual volume controls for mixing or with a single volume control for simplicity. Control can also be achieved through a web interface. The monitor is available with external redundant power supplies and supports a wide range of inputs including: 2xSDI up to 12G or MADI, 2 SFP for SDI over fiber, AES, balanced analog audio, and GPI for automation. Additional features include a live video thumbnail and SDI output for monitoring.

The AUD-MON series now supports ST 2110-20 video input, 64 audio channels with channel mapping to map a selection of 16 channels from 64-channel ST 2110-30 sources, and it also allows SMPTE ST 2110 input media streams to be re-transmitted on the 12G-SDI output.
