Leading UHD broadcast rental specialist ES Broadcast Hire has added EVS's state-of-the-art XT-VIA UHD HDR production server to its roster.

The XT-VIA joins the existing XT4K, XT3 ChannelMAX and XT3 options in ES Broadcast Hire's line-up of production servers, meaning the company is able to service a comprehensive array of client requirements. It will be available to clients across Europe and in the US.

The server can also deliver two 8K channels, making it compatible with recently announced cameras that can be used for UHD crops from wider 8K shots, to get ultra-close to the action.
