Herring Broadcasting Selects Ross for One America News Cable Network 15 Apr 2013

Herring Broadcasting selects Ross Video technology for the launch of One America News Network, a new national news network based in San Diego and debuting nationwide this summer.

One America News will be a 24/7 hard news and commentary source for national and international news. Technical integration of the new studio and control room is under the direction of Ross business partner Integrated Media Technologies, Inc (IMT), based in Los Angeles, CA. The new production control room will include Ross' OverDrive Automated Production Control System, Vision Multi-Definition Production Switcher, and XPression Motion Graphics.

Our timelines for the launch are aggressive, and The IMT team presented a systematic and well thought out approach for getting us on-air with the right technologies such as those provided by Ross Video, said Robert Herring, Jr., General Manager, One America News Network.

One America News Network was determined to build one of the finest production studios for its upcoming launch. IMT collaborated with the network's production team to understand their key objectives and our recommendation of the Overdrive system seemed a perfect fit, said Chan Mahon, EVP of Broadcast Systems, IMT. Our design focus is around Ross who offers an expansive feature set, ease of use, expandability, reliability and customer support programs.
