Cartoon Network hosts the UK's first cat premiere' at Odeon Haymarket to launch new TV series Unikitty!

Unikitty! premieres on Monday, 5th March at 6.30pm on Cartoon Network

London, UK. - Celebrity names, including Stacey Solomon and Lydia-Rose Bright played second fiddle to a group of star-studded kitties with cattitude - as the feline-friends clawed for attention on the red carpet to launch Cartoon Network's all-new-series Unikitty!.

The UK's first-ever TV premiere for cats took place at Odeon Haymarket on Wednesday 28th February, with the pets settling in to watch two episodes of the brand new TV show ahead of launch on Monday 5th March on Cartoon Network

The cats, including tom-cat Apollo, the mischievous Loki and the grumpy-faced Haribo - sashayed across the red carpet in front of the waiting purr-parrazzi in a range of designer furs, competing for column inches and trying to out sass the star of the show, UniKitty.

Also in attendance were celebrity cat fans Stacey Solomon, with her two sons, TOWIE's Lydia-Rose Bright, and BBC Radio 1's Chris Stark. Heart FM's Kat Shoob was there as the host of the red carpet.

When asked to add comment, Gremlin the cat stared blankly and walked away.

Cartoon Network is transporting viewers to a joyous kingdom full of sparkle matter, happy thoughts and the occasional rage-out in Unikitty!, an all-new animated series produced by Warner Bros. Animation. The series follows Unikitty, the beloved character from The LEGO Movie, and a whole cast of friends into a world full of adventure, excitement and dance parties.
