Leader in Mobile Live Video Acquisition, Transmission and Distribution to Provide On-Site Support for Broadcasters Covering Presidential Election Activities MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - September 1, 2016 - TVU Networks, the global technology leader in live IP video transmission solutions, is offering its range of 4G and LTE wireless uplink equipment and services to broadcasters covering U.S. Presidential campaign rallies, debates and Election Day 2016. Technical support personnel will be on-location before, during, and after the debates in September and October and Election Day in November for full support of TVU customers.
The dates and locations of the planned U.S. Presidential debates are as follows: September 26 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York; October 9 at Washington University in St. Louis in St. Louis, MO; and October 19 at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. The Vice Presidential debate will be on October 4 at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. Election Day is November 8.
In addition to comprehensive technical support, TVU will provide: equipment and accessories rentals, local cellular 4G and LTE datacards, and use of its scalable TVU Grid network for live video distribution. Customers can leverage the TVU Grid infrastructure as an optional way of backhauling live, HD video footage to anywhere in the world. Dedicated WiFi/Microwave Mesh bandwidth will be available from strategic locations in and around the hosting venues.

TVU's live video solutions have been used most recently for coverage of major events, including the Democratic and Republican National Conventions and the 2016 Rio Sumer Olympics.
TVU will also offer complimentary Facebook Live integration for the debates. TVU cellular transmitters are capable of live streaming to Facebook Live. When used with the TVU One mobile transmitter, live transmission to Facebook is possible from practically anywhere and anytime.
TVU One features TVU Networks' patented Inverse Statmux Plus (IS+) transmission algorithm, Smart VBR technology, and the TVU.264 video codec. It's available with embedded modems and can transmit simultaneously over multiple mediums, including cellular, microwave, MIMO microwave mesh, Ka-band and Ku-band satellite, BGAN, WiFi, and Ethernet.
