Farina, the new series of Antena 3, begins filming in Galicia Producida por Atresmedia Televisi n en colaboraci n con Bamb Producciones, la serie es la adaptaci n del libro hom nimo escrito por Nacho Carretero. El rodaje, que tendr lugar en localizaciones naturales de distintos puntos de Galicia, se extender durante 26 semanas, hasta el mes de noviembre.
Series Atresmedia acaba de dar comienzo al rodaje de su pr ximo proyecto para Antena 3, la serie Fari a, protagonizada por el actor gallego Javier Rey. El rodaje se extender durante 26 semanas, hasta finales de noviembre y se llevar a cabo en localizaciones naturales de la comunidad gallega.
Fari a est producida por Atresmedia Televisi n en colaboraci n con Bamb Producciones. Una relaci n de xito que ha fructificado en otras aclamadas ficciones para el sello Series Atresmedia como Hispania, Gran Hotel o Velvet y que ahora se adentra en el g nero del narcotr fico de la manera m s cruda.
Con Ram n Campos, Teresa Fern ndez-Vald s, Sonia Mart nez y Carlos Sedes como productores ejecutivos, la serie es la adaptaci n para televisi n del libro hom nimo de Nacho Carretero. Ram n Campos, Gema R. Neira, Crist bal Garrido y Diego Sotelo son los responsables del guion en el que tambi n colabora Nacho Carretero. La ficci n estar dirigida por Carlos Sedes (director principal), acompa ado de Jorge Torregrosa como segundo director de la serie.
Una serie con ADN gallego
Hablar de Fari a es hacerlo de un proyecto con un claro ADN gallego. Un proyecto que durante m s de medio a o impulsar el sector audiovisual gallego y que contar con algunos de sus mejores profesionales. La serie se grabar ntegramente en localizaciones de Galicia: diferentes rincones de Noia, Outes, Santiago de Compostela, Porto do Son, Pontevedra, Porto Meloxo, Illa de Arousa acoger n grabaciones de Fari a'.
El elenco, que alcanza los 120 actores, est conformado en casi su totalidad por actores y actrices gallegos, al igual que ocurre con el equipo t cnico de la serie. Los proveedores del rodaje (equipos audiovisuales, catering, camiones, veh culos varios ) tambi n son locales.
La serie trasladar al espectador a los a os 80 en una Galicia en la que la reconversi n de la pesca ha dejado a una parte de la flota gallega en tierra y cientos de armadores endeudados. No hay trabajo. En los muchos pueblos de pescadores que recorren la costa gallega, la falta de ingresos y los pagos cotidianos estrangula las econom as familiares. Es el caldo de cultivo perfecto para que se produzca la gran transformaci n: los antiguos traficantes de tabaco dan el salto a algo m s grande, m s lucrativo, pero mucho m s peligroso: las drogas.
El contrabando de tabaco, que de alguna forma hab a arraigado en la sociedad durante a os, da paso al narcotr fico. Los traficantes de la zona se ponen en contacto con los c rteles colombianos de la droga y comienzan a traficar con coca na. El narcotr fico del polvo blanco, que ya est moviendo ingentes cantidades de dinero en EEUU, llega a Galicia y, por ende, a Espa a y al resto de Europa.
Muy pronto, el 80% de la coca na que desembarca en Europa lo har por las costas gallegas. Los narcos gallegos ganan incontables sumas de dinero y la serpiente del narcotr fico comienza a extender su veneno por una sociedad presa de las dificultades econ micas de la poca. Muchos ven este negocio delictivo como una manera de salir adelante, de vivir bien. Las instituciones p blicas no siempre actuar n como se le exige y habr quienes hagan la vista gorda. Cada d a que pasa, los capos de la droga en Galicia tendr n m s poder. De la noche a la ma ana, se convertir n en Los Reyes de Galicia.
