Amazon Launches Prime Now Restaurant Delivery in San Francisco

Prime Now customers in San Francisco can now enjoy delivery from local restaurants, including Big Chef Tom's Belly Burgers, Buca di Beppo, DOSA, The Monk's Kettle, Nick's Crispy Tacos, Pressed Juicery, and many more

Free one-hour delivery from all restaurants, on all orders, for a limited time; Customers pay the same price with Prime Now as they do at the restaurant or Amazon will refund the item

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 26, 2016-- Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) today announced that Prime Now customers in San Francisco can now enjoy one-hour delivery from local restaurants, including Big Chef Tom's Belly Burgers, Buca di Beppo, DOSA, The Monk's Kettle, Nick's Crispy Tacos, Pressed Juicery and many more. Using the Prime Now mobile app, San Francisco customers can view participating restaurants, browse menus, place orders, track the status of their delivery, and watch as their delivery driver travels from the restaurant to the delivery address in real time.

Once an order is placed, Amazon delivery partners deliver the food in an hour or less. Prime Now Restaurant Delivery offers customers transparent pricing-there are no menu markups or hidden service fees and delivery on all orders is free for a limited time. If a customer finds a restaurant item on Prime Now Restaurants that is priced higher than the regularly-priced item on the restaurant's current online menu within 24 hours of placing the order, Amazon will refund the customer the price of the item.
