Mr. Detlef Sold will join SONOVTS Media GmbH as managing director on 1.1.2020.

We are pleased to be able to recruit such a distinguished and experienced leader from the

broadcast industry for the new SONOVTS Media GmbH and are convinced that after the

largely completed restructuring, we have set another milestone for the long-term and

successful positioning of SONOVTS Media, says the new owner of SONOVTS Media.

Mr. Sold looks back on a long and successful career in the broadcasting industry. He began his

professional career at EPF (Erstes Privates Fernsehen) in Ludwigshafen before moving to RTL

in Cologne in 1987. After 22 years, most recently as Head of Production, he left RTL and

founded media effective GmbH. As a project manager and consultant, he managed various

projects worldwide, including at Al Jazeera in Qatar, but also for the WAZ Group in Essen.

Most recently, he was CEO of tpc AG in Switzerland for almost 8 years, where he was

instrumental in shaping the transition to IP technology.

With todays date, the managing directors Stephan Kr mer and Franz Olbert will resign from

their position. Mr. Kr mer will continue to work for the company following his passion for

technology and complex projects. Mr. Olbert is leaving SONOVTS Media GmbH, but will

remain with the company as an external consultant and project manager. Mr. Marc Doderer

will remain a member of the management board.

I would like to express a big thank you to Mr. Kr mer and Mr. Olbert for their loyalty to the

company during this difficult transition period and look forward to further cooperation, said

the new owner.
