Midcontinent Launches TiVo as Exclusive Next-Generation Advanced TV Offering Upper Midwests Most Advanced, Multi-Screen and Multi-Source TV Now Available -- Full Footprint Availability to Follow

SAN JOSE, CA and SIOUX FALLS, SD--(Marketwired - Apr 4, 2013) - TiVo Inc. (NASDAQ: TIVO), a leader in the advanced television entertainment market, and Midcontinent Communications, the Upper Midwests leading provider of data, video, phone and cable advertising services today announced they have begun deploying their whole home next generation television experience with TiVo. Rapid City and the Northern Black Hills area in South Dakota will be the first market in Midcontinents 300,000 customer footprint to have access to the TiVo offering, followed by Minnesota, North Dakota and the remaining South Dakota markets in the coming months.

TiVo Premiere Q series DVR will serve as the entertainment hub for the home and from there, subscribers will be able to opt in to enjoy the benefits of TiVos two new complementary offerings. TiVo Mini, a companion low-cost IP set-top, will extend the viewing of live TV, recorded and streaming content, as well as On Demand programming, to rooms throughout their homes without an additional TiVo DVR. Additionally, TiVo Stream will allow customers to stream their favorite shows, both live and recorded, from a TiVo Premiere Q series DVR simultaneously to multiple tablets or smartphones. And, customers can download and take their pre-recorded shows with them to view anywhere even when not connected.*
