Expansion of the eCommerce platform for integrating future solutions and products
(arvato Systems) G tersloh, Germany - The IT systems integrator arvato Systems has successfully implemented the arvato Order Management System (arvato OMS) at Sanicare, Germany's largest mail-order pharmacy. This allows Sanicare to sharpen its strategic focus on eCommerce business.
With the arvato Order Management System, arvato Systems now provides the central cross-channel commerce management solution to go along with the previously integrated SAP systems and PC support at Sanicare. Sanicare is using the arvato OMS to modularize its existing IT infrastructure. With this as the basis, it will be possible to offer customers new and innovative services in the future. It makes the arvato Order Management System a key tool for Sanicare to further secure its market leadership position as Germany's largest mail-order pharmacy.
The arvato OMS at Sanicare intelligently links different online shops, marketing tools, and the SAP merchandise management system as a central online platform that connects and coordinates complex processes. Plans are already in place to use the system for customer services in the future. This enabled Sanicare to simplify comprehensive processes. Both the entire eCommerce platform and the range of services and consulting options have been expanded.
It has been possible to significantly streamline processes by implementing the arvato Order Management System. What's more, the solution allows you to integrate new business fields later on down the road, explains Hubert Peter, eCommerce Sales Director at arvato Systems.
