Amagi has announced the addition of Agentic Media Operations to its Amagi NOW platform, integrating AI reasoning agents across its media supply chain workflows for metadata enrichment, artwork generation, ad-break identification, and localization.
Our customers don't need another standalone AI tool; they need their existing workflows to be intelligent, says Srividhya Srinivasan, Co-Founder and CTO, Amagi. With these new agentic capabilities, we are enabling a low-touch, high-scale operating model where AI agents handle the heavy lifting of media preparation, so customers can scale without a linear increase in cost.
Agentic Capabilities
Metadata Enrichment: AI agents analyze content to generate metadata and EPG-compliant descriptions in more than 25 languages for platform distribution.
Artwork Generation: Agents generate and reformat posters and key art into platform-compliant formats, including vertical formats for mobile, using subject-aware cropping.
Ad-Break Identification: Reasoning agents analyze video context to identify ad break positions in content before ingestion into FAST and AVOD platforms.
Localization and Captioning: Agents generate closed captions and subtitles from audio in 29-plus languages and translate them to more than 100 languages.
