Quantel launches LiveTouch, much more than a control panel for the production of outstanding This solution consists of three components: a dedicated control panel, a monitoring application and the new server LiveTouch SQ.
For news, sports and other live applications, both Quantel It has just presented at IBC 2014 the new LiveTouch. Quantel has launched sQ Fileflow at IBC, adding a number of new and powerful capabilities for the enterprise with sQ news and system production of sports for the users. SQ Fileflow 2 delivers more flexibility, simple integration IT fast flow and increases productivity.
As for Fileflow sQ, includes multiple independent motors: users can simply add more engines to increase the bandwidth, speed and resilience. Users can start working with media as soon as arrival files and export new files faster than realtime.
Kahunna family grows
Quantel announced today the introduction of the full range of new mixers Snell Kahunna, models 4800, 6400, and 9600 that offer more power and flexibility, and 4K capabilities throughout its range.
The new Maverick, perfect model for any Studio or ob production, complements models 6400/4800/9600 contributing a huge set of features reinforced, including more power for the effects of mixing (m/e), functionality and improvements in resizing DVE engines, allowing capacity chroma on all existing and 2.5-d DVE in all models of their range. Range models are the following: Kahunna 4800 (up to 4 M/s, 16 keyers) Kahunna 6400 (up to 12 M/s, 24 keyers) and Kahunna 9600 (up to 24 M/s, 48 keyers).
France Presse, adopts the Quantel technology Quantel has made known that since last year, France Presse has taken its technology by testing the solution QTube. The implemented workflow allows to work very quickly with both local and remote content. Thus it is possible to finish the parts in central Paris as well as in any other delegation.
The workflow supports 25 and 30 fps (30 p material is immediately converted once arrived in Paris)
