Voddler Group, the cloud-streaming innovator, has provided leading MENA OTT and IP video product provider Intigral with its VoddlerNet hybrid peer-assisted video streaming solution to dramatically optimise the subscriber viewing experience on Saudi Telecom Company (STC)s Dawri Plus digital sport platform.
The Dawri Plus OTT service delivers sports video and fan engagement across the region, offering live match streaming and enabling the creation of unique fan engagements across the country and with STC subscribers around the world. It allows fans to experience Saudi football anywhere, at any time, on any device by enjoying an immersive second screen experience with in-built fantasy gaming and social media interactivity.
Dawri Plus is powered by a turnkey Intigral cloud-based solution supported by VoddlerNet video streaming, which enables not only high-performance streaming and features, but also the ability to scale deployment while offering customised features.

The Intigral roll-out includes an advanced media player, a sport tailored UI/UX, native iOS and Android apps, a recommendation engine and cross-platform user-centric analytics and audience measurement tools, all hosted at Intigrals master control room and network operations centre.
Supporting the Intigral platform is Voddler Groups VoddlerNet hybrid peer-assisted and secure delivery, which ensures the delivery of a consistently high quality viewing experience to Dawri Plus subscribers. VoddlerNet combines controlled and secure peer-assisted delivery with direct streaming from the source provider. This unique video streaming solution greatly expands the reach of streaming video services, while maintaining the highest bitrate and quality of service possible.
