Archiware, producer of data management software Archiware P5 and Pure, introduces its latest product developments at the NAB Show in Las Vegas from April 9th to April 12th. Highlights include live demonstrations of the upcoming version 5.6 of the P5 software suite in conjunction with numerous partner products at Archiware's booth SL15416.
NAB Show Las Vegas is the most prominent international event for the media and entertainment technology industry and this year, Archiware is showcasing the latest version of the P5 data management suite, to be released in the second quarter of 2018. Features include:
LTFS data exchange
LTO-8 support for P5 Archive and P5 Backup
Microsoft Azure, Hitachi S3 and Wasabi S3 support
Support for Backblaze Fireball service to import large datasets
Extended NAS compatibility: QNAP and Synology
A significant addition to Archiware's upcoming P5 version is the native integration of data exchange in LTFS format. The new feature eliminates the common drawbacks of LTFS, with no additional driver requirements. LTFS data exchange will be demonstrated in a live environment along with Archiware's partner products:

This year, Archiware is proud to be working with 35 hardware and software partners at the show.
