Spring 2015 sees a raft of Lipsync projects at the cinema

- Catch Me Daddy, Hyena, The Face of an Angel, X+Y, The Falling and A Little Chaos all hit the screens this Spring -

LONDON, UK 19 March 2015 In a burst of freshness, LipSync celebrates six of its feature film projects all reaching the big screen in Spring 2015. Catch Me Daddy, Hyena, X+Y, The Face of an Angel, A Little Chaos and The Falling are all released in the UK between February and April. LipSync provided full post-production services on all of the projects, as well as equity investment for A Little Chaos and The Face of an Angel.

Peter Hampden, Managing Director, The LipSync Group, said, Normally good things come in threes, so we are pleased to have double the usual quota on the screen this Spring. These films were all very different, ranging from thriller to costume drama to mystery, but all were a pleasure to work on.

Catch Me Daddy (Emu Films, Film4) is the BIFA-nominated directorial debut of Daniel Wolfe about a girl on the run from her family with her drifter boyfriend, forced to flee for her life when her brother arrives in town with a gang of thugs in tow. UK release date: 27 February 2015.

Hyena (Number 9 Films, Film4) tells the story of Michael Logan, a violent, corrupt London copper who doesn't always do everything by the book but gets the job done. Written and directed by Gerard Johnson, it stars Peter Ferdinando, Stephen Graham and Neil Maskell, and recently received 4 star reviews in Empire Magazine and Metro. UK release date: 6 March 2015.

X+Y (Origin Pictures) stars Asa Butterfield as a maths prodigy, alongside a stellar British cast including Sally Hawkins, Rafe Spall and Eddie Marsan. It is the first feature film for BIFA-nominated director Morgan Matthews. LipSync has worked with Origin Pictures on many film and TV projects including What We Did On Our Holidays and Death Comes to Pemberley. UK release date: 13 March 2015.

The Face of an Angel (Revolution Films, BBC Films), starring Kate Beckinsale, Cara Delevingne and Daniel Bruhl is a story inspired by the Amanda Knox murder trial. Director Michael Winterbottom also worked with LipSync on The Look of Love. UK release date: 27 March 2015.

A Little Chaos (BBC Films), directed and starring Alan Rickman, sees Kate Winslet as a landscape-gardener awarded the esteemed assignment to construct the grand gardens at Versailles for King Louis XIV. UK release date: 17 April 2015.

The Falling (Cannon and Morley Films, BBC Films) tells the story of Lydia, the troubled girl at the centre of a mysterious fainting epidemic, who is determined to find out the cause of the illness spreading through her British all-girl school in the late 1960s. It stars Maisie Williams and Maxine Peake, and was written and directed by Carol Morley. UK release date: 24 April 2015.
