Ateme has announced that its support for Apple Immersive Video workflows was referenced by Apple during its 2026 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC26).
Ateme's solution uses its TITAN and NEA product lines to manage the immersive signal chain from acquisition to delivery. The implementation supports SMPTE ST 2110-22 format with Apple ProRes payload for acquisition, Multiview HEVC (MV-HEVC) compression, and HLS packaging for delivery. The workflow integrates Apple Spatial Audio Format (ASAF) with Apple Positional Audio Codec (APAC) for audio, and includes ad insertion capabilities through NEA. A collaboration with NVIDIA addressed pixel processing requirements.
Being referenced at WWDC26 as part of Apple Immersive Video's industry-leading broadcast ecosystem reflects Ateme's commitment to delivering premium immersive experiences at scale to worldwide audiences, live and on-demand, says Mickael Raulet, CTO, Ateme.
