VidiGo wins IABM Design & Innovation System Automation & Control Award

VidiGo wins IABM Design & Innovation System Automation & Control Award Amsterdam, 14 September 2014 - VidiGo is proud to announce to have won an IABM Design & Innovation Award in the category System Automation & Control. Saturday night, September 13th, at the International Broadcast Convention 2014 in Amsterdam, VidiGo received the award, beating other finalists AVID and Imagen.

VidiGo won the award for its Studio Automation solution, an all-in-one software solution for multi-camera live production and automation, including integration options with newsroom systems. The VidiGo Studio Automation workflow allows broadcasters to fully automate their live (newscast) productions. VidiGo has recently completed the installation of Studio Automation at eight regional TV studios in the Nordics.

The IABM has stated that overall, the number and quality of entries are truly indicative of the talent and creativity inherent in the industry today. And, as we transition through some significant change, innovation and forward thinking have never been more important.

We made around 120 judging decisions in total, resulting in these prestigious awards being given to the most deserving winners.

The winning entries were judged and awarded by a panel of 22 independent specialists chaired by John Ive, Director of Business Development and Technology, IABM. The nine winners will be put forward for the IABM's prestigious Peter Wayne Award to be announced at the IABM Annual International Business Conference in December.
