BRIGHT HOUSE, GCI JOIN SCTE CORPORATE ALLIANCE PROGRAM

MARCH 24, 2015 (Exton, PA) The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) today announced that Bright House Networks and GCI have joined the SCTE Corporate Alliance Partner (CAP) Program.

The two cable system operators join Comcast, Cox Communications, Liberty Global, Shentel, Suddenlink, Time Warner Cable and others in the Corporate Alliance Program. The program enables operators and vendors of all sizes jointly to address industry issues, to develop solutions and prepare for emerging technologies, and to dramatically expand access to training and education available through SCTE, its chapters and its global International Society of Broadband Experts (ISBE) brand.

"The Corporate Alliance Program's unified approach leverages the commitments of operators to enable development of training that anticipates, rather than responds to, industry needs," said Lindsay Johnston, senior vice president of operations for SCTE. "The additional perspectives of Bright House Networks and GCI will allow us to further sharpen the focus of our membership, training and leadership initiatives."

Conceived as a true strategic partnership among corporate members and SCTE, the Corporate Alliance Program includes a wide variety of opportunities for all constituencies to influence the training roadmap from the executive to the field level and to leverage the work of other Corporate Alliance partners. The program and entry fees are structured to ensure that members of all sizes have an opportunity to gain maximum value from participation.

The CAP program enables operators to choose from a variety of benefits, including discounts on:

Individual employee memberships;

Downloads and registrations for SCTE online courses; and

Seats at SCTE Leadership Institute programs at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business.
