Viewers of Gomora were elated when fan-favourites, Zodwa and Bongani (Thulani Mtsweni) got engaged on Monday (25 October).

Bongani proposed marriage to his girlfriend, Zodwa (Sannah Mchunu) at his restaurant right before Zodwa's baby daddy, Don walked in.
Fans of the show have congratulated them and are looking forward to their wedding because they do not want Zodwa and Don to get back together.

Don (Israel Zulu) has been trying to get back together with his baby mama, Zodwa since he returned to Gomora this season.

He's even pleaded with his children to assist him to get Zodwa and even threatened to end Bongani's life, but nothing has worked for him.
Don is now determined to break up the happy couple because he senses that Zodwa still loves him and only agreed to marry Bongani to spite him.

DON AND ZODWA GET BACK TOGETHER Zodwa and Don will get back together in November according to the TVSA November teasers.

This will happen right before Don is killed by Mazet (Siphesihle Ndaba) next month.
Zodwa will not be able to keep up with the pretence anymore and will break Bongani's heart.
She will also struggle financially after Don's death because she earns minimum wage as a domestic worker.
She has two children to feed and will not cope without Don or Bongani's financial assistance.
