RTI Rings in 2014 With an Electronic House Products of the Year Award for the T2x

SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Jan. 16, 2014 - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI) today announced that the company has kicked off the new year with a 2014 Electronic House Products of the Year Award for its sleek and stylish T2x wireless user interface.

2013 was a big year for RTI, said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for RTI. We introduced a number of innovative new products, including the T2x, which certainly made quite a splash with its elegant design and advanced features. I cant think of a better way to start off the new year than to see this unique controller honored with this prestigious award.

Electronic House magazines Products of the Year Awards recognize the best technologies, products, and services for the connected home. Winners were chosen by a panel of distinguished industry leaders, along with the editors of Electronic House and CE Pro. Based on the criteria of creativity, innovation, functionality, aesthetics, and lifestyle benefits to the consumer, the T2x was selected as the winner in the Universal Remotes and User Interfaces category.

Defining engineering excellence, the remarkable T2x is the fifth generation of RTIs renowned T2 remote control platform. A full complement of hard buttons provides quick, intuitive control, while the 2.8-inch touchscreen interface can be custom tailored for full control of devices throughout an environment.
