Nashville-based production provider chooses the 270W Cool White LED luminaire for their high-power with low-power consumption and diverse features

Continuing to increase the lighting solutions available in their rental inventory, Elite Multimedia is pleased to announce the addition of Elation Artiste DaVinci LED luminaires. Needing a high-powered LED solution that provided minimal power consumption, the new 270W Cool White LED luminaires were also chosen for their diverse features and design creativity, and are now in stock at the Nashville office of the live event and touring production provider.

In looking for an LED equivalent for our 700W short arc fixtures, we were interested in the Elation Artiste DaVinci because they could give us a wide feature set in an economical and multipurpose fixture, stated Jason Cannonball Jenkins, Elite Multimedia Director of Operations. Their maiden voyage will be with our summer camp clients who needed a small fixture with low-power but great output, and we really like how we can put the Artiste DaVinci on any gig from a trailer tour to a corporate production.

Featuring a 270W Cool White LED engine with advanced optics, the Artiste DaVinci delivers over 12,000 lumens of output with an ultra-wide 6-48 zoom, full CMY color mixing and linear CTO color correction. Additionally, the luminaire has seven dichroic colors, six rotating glass and nine static-stamped metal interchangeable gobos. With its 3-facet and linear rotating prisms, frost filter, and full 360 bi-directional animation wheel, the Elation Artiste DaVinci is completed by a motorized focus/auto-focus, variable dimming curve modes, and a high speed electronic shutter and strobe.

A low-power, high-output automated LED fixture has been sought after for quite some time and the Artiste DaVinci luminaires add a very useful solution to our rental inventory, added Jenkins. The LED engine is extremely bright and while it's ideal for some of our smaller events, it can definitely hold its own for some of our larger touring and live event lighting designs as well.
