Edmonton Oilers uses Fujinon lenses for broadcasts of ice hockey matches El equipo canadiense instala en su reci n inaugurado recinto Roger Place Arena una serie de c maras Sony con lentes Fujinon para la producci n de los partidos, entrevistas y reacciones del p blico.

El equipo de hockey sobre hielo canadiense NHL Edmonton Oilers ha estrenado esta temporada su nuevo arena, despu s de m s de 40 a os en su antiguo estadio. El nuevo Roger Place Arena, que tiene capacidad para 18.500 personas, se ubica en el centro de la ciudad canadiense. El equip confi en las c maras de Sony en las lentes de Fuji para la producci n de los partidos. Entre los objetivos empleados destacan seis lentes Fujinon, que incluyen una super gran angular HA14x4.5BERM, dos teleobjetivos XA77x9.5BESM, una HA18x5.5BERD y dos lentes HA18x7.6BERM HA Premier Series ENG

Las pantallas del estadio son las m s grandes entre los estadios de todos los equipos de la NHL y funcionan en conjunto con el integrador de sistemas local Matrix Video Communications, que posee una estructura compuesta por un sistema que incluye una c mara-box Sony HDC-P1 montada con un sistema de tracking dolly en el marcador del estadio. La c mara tiene una lente Fujinon Premier Series HA18X5.5BERD ENG / EFP HA y puede desplazarse a 15 metros a lo largo de la anchura del marcador para producir im genes din micas del juego. Se utiliza para las presentaciones de v deo dentro del arena y para las transmisiones nacionales de Sportsnet.

Las pantallas de la arena utilizan tres c maras de mano: dos Sony HSC-100RF con cable con lentes HA18x7.6BERM ENG de Fujinon y una Sony PXW-X500 EFP con una lente s per gran angular HA14X4.5BERM conjfigurada con un transmisor inal mbrico RF. Las c maras graban las principales jugadas del partido as como las reacciones de los aficionados y entrevistas.

Keith Hough, director de producci n de Oilers Entertainment Group, comenta que las lentes Fujinon han demostrado ser robustas y entregar una calidad de imagen superior. En la producci n externa el equipo necesitaba contar con un equipamiento de gran durabilidad ya que necesita ser transportado, configurado, desmontado y transportado nuevamente varias veces durante la temporada. Las lentes soportan ese tratamiento cr tico produciendo bellas im genes para todos los eventos .

Las lentes teleobjetivos Fujinon XA77x9.5BESM con kits MS-21D de control semi-servo digital tambi n se utilizan en las c maras Sony HSC-100RF colocadas en dos posiciones cr ticas de el arena. Estas lentes poseen una funci n de estabilizaci n de imagen que son muy tiles al final del zoom y pueden ahogar la vibraci n del edificio y los gritos de 18.000 personas , explica Hough.
