Unitecnic modernizes recording video signals of the Congress of Deputies Ha sustituido el sistema de grabaci n en cintas por una soluci n de videoservidores en ficheros en un proyecto desarrollado con tecnolog a de Grass Valley, Infortrend, HPE, Avaya e IBM Tivoli.
Unitecnic ha llevado a cabo la sustituci n del anterior sistema de grabaci n en cintas del Congreso de los Diputados por una soluci n basada en videoservidores de ltima generaci n, que hace posible el flujo total de ingesta, edici n y archivado en ficheros.
La filial de Mediapro ha utilizado tecnolog a de calidad broadcast para este proyecto, como requiere un entorno como el Congreso de los Diputados, y se ha basado en equipamiento Grass Valley, Infortrend, HPE, Avaya y Tivoli de IBM. Para la grabaci n simult nea de 12 canales SD/HD, Unitecnic ha instalado cuatro servidores K2 Summit de Grass Valley. A ellos, se a aden otros cuatro canales auxiliares, dos configurados para reproducci n y dos en reserva. Cuentan, adem s, con un almacenamiento combinado de m s de 1.000 horas en HD. Los videoservidores se complementan con un servidor Stratus Core y dos estaciones Edius para el control, trimado, edici n, recuperaci n y archivado de los clips.
Como almacenamiento nearline, se ha optado por una soluci n de Infortrend EonNAS de 128TB brutos, en configuraci n RAID 6 y controladoras redundantes. De esta manera, los servidores de grabaci n pueden descargar clips en el almacenamiento auxiliar, de manera manual o mediante reglas configuradas en Stratus, o recuperarlos para reproducirlos o trimarlos nuevamente.
Adem s, este almacenamiento sirve de repositorio desde el que se archivan los clips finales hacia el sistema de almacenamiento jer rquico del Congreso mediante un cliente de IBM Tivoli Storage Manager sobre una plataforma de HPE. Todos los sistemas se conectan sobre una infraestructura de red Avaya con switches redundantes.
