VSN brings the latest VSNEXPLORER innovations to NAB 06 with great succe

Another edition of NAB Show 2016 ends with great success and positive sensations for VSN Innovation & Media Solutions. The latest integrations and advanced features for its solutions, especially for the VSNEXPLORER Media Management suite of products, not only have had a great acceptance among visitors, but also have driven dozens of people to the on site demonstrations. This year VSN has actually break its records of Demos and of stand visitors. The latest features in Cloud, Keyframes, EDLs and Second Screens, among others, have been the main reason for this successful NAB, that we analyze with this article. This year VSN broke its records of carried out Demos and number of attendees to its stand.

The international expansion of VSN's Media Management solutions, with VSNEXPLORER and its MAM, PAM, BPM and BI modules as the main feature, has been consolidated again at NAB Show with record figures for the company. The number of visitors at the stand, of Demos carried out by its Broadcast and Media & Entertainment engineering and specialist team, and of meetings with different industry agents and partners at its stand are even higher than last edition's, leaving an excellent impression for the rest of the year.

VSN has visited NAB 2016 with numerous new features for its media management suite that have resonated in the industry and that put VSNEXPLORER at the avant-garde of the industry. The integration of VSNEXPLORER with Microsoft Azure and its Media Services already allow for a collaborative work environment on Cloud that increases productivity and enables to work on the same project from different locations. Also, Media Services allow VSNEXPLORER to develop numerous new features on Cloud, such as automatic subtitling (speech-to-text), translating to multiple languages, face pixelating or autocataloguing.

Other relevant new that has grabbed the public attention has been the latest fingerprinting service developed for VSNEXPLORER, a feature that allows content recognition simply by its audio, in order to completely control all the broadcasting carried out by a TV channel. The integration between VSNEXPLORER and Media Composer from Avid also collected a very warm welcoming. Its newly developments allow to download a compatible hotlist (a .aaf file from EDL that contains all the hotlist's cuts), so as to have the possibility of finishing the hotlist edition, including last effects and adjustments, from the Media Composer program itself. Both functionalities have attracted numerous visitors to VSN's stand, in order to receive further information about the possibilities these integrations contain.

Furthermore, during this NAB Show edition VSN has also exchanged momentarily its corporate stand for the one of its partner SGL: a company specialized in archiving systems that has integrated its services with VSNEXPLORER media management suite of products. SGL invited VSN over to participate into its partners' conferences and presentations. VSN's Sales Team for Europe and Africa, leaded by its Sales Director, Roberto Pascual, and its Sales Manager, Ram n Dueso, was the one in charge of introducing attendees VSN's latest innovations improved in all its suite of solutions, as well as the newest integrations launched during NAB Show, such as the most recent one with Disk Archive Corporation (DAC) and its storage libraries.

We are really surprised and satisfied with the great welcoming that our solutions had at the trade show this year', declares VSN's CEO and President, Jordi Utiel. After the good results achieved in 2015, truth be told, it seemed really complicated to obtain similar numbers and attendees' feedback. However, on this 2016 the integrations carried out with companies like Microsoft Azure Media Services, Avid Media Composer or SGL, as well as the latest developments introduced into VSNEXPLORER and VSNWEBTV (two of our star-products) have been a great success'.

After the excellent results achieved at NAB Show 2016, VSN is focused now on preparing the rest international events and trade shows in which the company will take place throughout 2016. Among others, it will participate on the following main trade shows: BroadcastAsia in Singapur (from the 31st of May to the 3rd of June), Bit Broadcast in Madrid (from the 24th to the 26th May) and IBC in Amsterdam (from the 8th to the 12th of September).
