IHSE Appoints Ed Krach to the Position of Global Vice President for Systems Engineering

IHSE USA, a leading provider of advanced keyboard, video, and mouse (KVM) products for switching and extending professional-quality media signals, today announced that Ed Krach has joined the company in the newly formed position of global vice president for systems engineering. He will oversee pre-sales, solution design, and training efforts worldwide.

Krach comes to IHSE with extensive experience spanning 25 years in networking, data center, and AV/KVM business continuity solutions. He most recently served as vice president of design center and training for Thinklogical. Prior positions include technical and systems engineering positions at IHSE USA, Avocent (formerly Cybex), the Network Professional Association, and Dell Computer GmbH.

Having been a part of the IHSE family years ago, I am amazed at the wave of innovation and new products that have come out of R&D in Germany over the past year, said Krach. I am very excited about rejoining IHSE, and I look forward to playing an integral role in its explosive growth on a global basis.

Along with an outstanding record in supporting company growth strategies, Krach has a proven record of building long-term relationships with system integrators and clients. He brings a strong global background in KVM design solutions for audio/visual and broadcast-related systems design. Krach also has an extensive list of certifications in networking and training from IBM, Microsoft, and Novell.

With over 25 years in the AV/KVM industry, Ed brings an impressive record of running successful training and system design solutions for the type of customers we serve, added Dr. Enno Littmann, CEO of IHSE GmbH. He will not only help IHSE strengthen our presence in key markets across the globe but also bring significant knowledge to support our international sales team with effective system designs.

Krach will be based out of Austin, Texas, and will report directly to Patel.
