Joan Bas retires after twenty years as president of Diagonal TV Jaume Banacolocha, CEO y co-fundador de la prestigiosa marca de ficci n, continuar liderando la empresa con Montse Garc a en la direcci n ejecutiva y Jordi Frades como responsable de contenidos.
Diagonal Televisi n, compa a perteneciente al grupo EndemolShine Iberia, ha renovado su c pula directiva tras la marcha de Joan Bas que se retira tras veinte a os de exitosa trayectoria en la compa a. Jaume Banacolocha CEO y co-fundador de la prestigiosa marca de ficci n continuar liderando la empresa con Montse Garc a en la direcci n ejecutiva y Jordi Frades como responsable de contenidos.
Banacolocha ha destacado que Joan Bas ha sido clave en la s lida trayectoria de Diagonal TV como impulsor de las series diarias en Espa a y de muchas de las ficciones que han marcado impronta en el mercado televisivo nacional .
Montse Garc a ha venido desempe ando el cargo de productora ejecutiva adjunta en Diagonal TV siendo parte responsable en el desarrollo, producci n y venta de t tulos como La Se ora, Rep blica, Isabel, Carlos Rey Emperador, Sin Identidad o Amar es para siempre, referente de serie diaria nacional.
Jordi Frades es uno de los directores m s respetados de la ficci n nacional, responsable, entre otros, de grandes xitos para la televisi n como La Se ora, La Rep blica, Isabel por el que ha recibido el Premio Iris y el Premio ACE de Nueva York al Mejor Director. Jordi Frades ha dirigido tambi n para el cine la pel cula La Corona Partida. Actualmente ltima la esperada serie The Cathedral of the sea para Antena3TV/TV3 y Netflix.

Toda una vida dedicada a la televisi n
Joan Bas se inici profesionalmente en Radio Miramar, como operador y mezclador de sonido. Posteriormente trabaj en Televisi n Espa ola, durante 14 a os, como ayudante de realizaci n, realizador y finalmente ocup el puesto de adjunto a la direcci n de programas de TVE en Sant Cugat. Desempe su labor en diferentes g neros televisivos (infantil, musical, concursos y dram ticos), entre los cuales destacan los programas: Terra d'Escudella, Estudio 1, Lletres Catalanes, Catal amb nosaltres, Taller de com dies and Temps de can ons.
Posteriormente empez una nueva etapa en Televisi de Catalunya donde hizo las funciones de jefe de realizaci n para pasar a ser jefe de Programas Dram ticos.
Junto a Josep Mar a Benet i Jornet fue el creador de la primera serie diaria de todo el territorio espa ol, de 180 cap tulos, Poble Nou, que durante su a o de emisi n consigui una media del 39% de share.
Durante su estancia en Televisi de Catalunya particip como director de Producci n Ejecutiva en diferentes producciones como: Quico, Oh, Europa!, La Lloll, Estaci d'Enlla , Pedralves Centre, Rosa, Vost Mateix, Secrets de Fam lia (36,7 % de share medio en una temporada) y Nissaga de Poder (38,2% de media en tres temporadas).
