Virtual screens could replace television and cinemas in less than a year Seg n el informe ConsumerLab de Ericsson, con encuestas a 9.000 usuarios de distintos pa ses, 7 de cada 10 consumidores creen que la realidad virtual y la realidad aumentada dominar n nuestra vida.

Los consumidores creen que la realidad virtual (VR) y la realidad aumentada (VR) se fundir n en la realidad f sica y el 5G ser una tecnolog a clave para que dichas experiencias sean las dominantes en el futuro. Seg n el informe ConsumerLab de Ericsson, cuando los l mites entre la percepci n de lo f sico y de lo virtual empiezan a ser difusos, se produce un impacto dr stico en la vida y en la sociedad. Nuestra forma de vivir, trabajar y consumir informaci n cambia esencialmente.

Estas realidades no se fusionar n si el usuario est conectado a un ordenador o desconectado de la realidad f sica. Los primeros en adoptar la VR/AR esperan que las redes de la siguiente generaci n como el 5G desempe ar n un papel esencial. Un 36% conf an en que el 5G ofrecer una movilidad VR/AR a trav s de una red estable, r pida y de alto ancho de banda. Un 30% de estos pioneros creen tambi n que el 5G permitir que los auriculares con cable se hagan inal mbricos.

7 de cada 10 de estos pioneros' opinan que la VR/AR cambiar seis aspectos fundamentales de la vida diaria: medios, educaci n, trabajo, interacci n social, viajes y ventas minoristas (retail). Los medios ya se est n transformando y los consumidores creen que las pantallas virtuales empiecen a sustituir a televisores y salas de cine en menos de un a o.

La investigaci n cualitativa del informe incluye una serie de debates en grupo totalmente en realidad virtual, con participantes de Norteam rica y Europa, as como grupos de debate tradicionales con usuarios actuales de VR de Jap n y Corea del Sur. Tambi n se han realizado una serie de pruebas cualitativas con 20 empleados de Ericsson para analizar c mo el desfase en VR puede provocar n useas.

El informe recoge las opiniones de una encuesta entre 9.200 usuarios en Francia, Alemania, Italia, Jap n, Corea del Sur, Espa a, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos de entre 15 y 69 a os con conocimientos sobre VR.
