PAMA and Shure Announce 2026 Mark Brunner Professional Audio Scholarship Recipients

The Professional Audio Manufacturers Alliance (PAMA) and Shure Incorporated have announced the 2026 recipients of the Mark Brunner Professional Audio Scholarship. The scholarship, now in its sixth year, is awarded annually to students pursuing education in professional audio. The scholarship is named for longtime Shure executive and PAMA past president Mark Brunner, who passed away in 2020.

The 2026 recipients are Tamanpreet Kaur (American University, MA in Audio Technology), Andrew Padfield (Western Michigan University, Multimedia Arts Technology and Communications), Nate Dickson (Belmont University, Audio Engineering Technology), and Salon Khatri (Texas State University, Audio Engineering). Kaur and Padfield are receiving the scholarship for the second consecutive year.

Over the past six years, the Mark Brunner Professional Audio Scholarship has become a meaningful way for PAMA to invest in the future of our industry while keeping Mark's spirit of mentorship very much alive, says Yvonne Ho, President, PAMA Board of Directors. Each year, we are inspired by the talent, ambition and commitment of the students who apply, particularly their desire to share what they learn with others. That spirit of giving back was so important to Mark, and we are grateful to Shure for its continued partnership in helping us carry it forward.
