Scott Coker and Peter Y. Levin Launch Ki MMA Global MMA Promotion

Co-founders Scott Coker and Peter Y. Levin have unveiled Ki MMA, a new global mixed martial arts promotion launching in the first quarter of 2027. The announcement was made at a launch event in Lower Manhattan, with Ki MMA backed by $60 million in financing announced in May 2026.

The inaugural 2027 Ki MMA World Grand Prix will be contested at featherweight across four eight-fighter continental tournaments in North America, Europe, Asia, and South America. Each Continental Champion advances to a one-night World Grand Prix Final featuring semifinals and a championship bout. The eventual champion must win five bouts across the competition, including two on the final night. All Ki MMA bouts take place in a ring. Events will also feature Super Fights and additional bouts across multiple weight classes.

Among those attending the launch event were Randy Couture, Royce Gracie, Fedor Emelianenko, Cris Cyborg, Nate Diaz, Tyron Woodley, Gil Melendez, Frank Shamrock, Josh Thomson, and Mark Coleman.

Event dates, host cities, and broadcast information will be announced ahead of Ki MMA's 2027 debut.
