VariCam Experience Day: all the potential of the Varicam in the Film Academy saga Panasonic organizes a day where in the hands of the director of photography Tommie Ferreras and Visual Effect Manager the bike will highlight all the creative possibilities of the Varicam saga.

Headquarters in Madrid of the Academy of Arts and cinematographic Sciences of Spain will host next Wednesday June 14 the day VariCam Experience Day. Throughout this event, which will begin at 7 oclock, Panasonic It will release the full potential of the Varicam saga and why Netflix has chosen it for many of its most successful productions in 4 K.

Camera VariCam range has been used in a wide variety of movies, commercials and television programs, and is known for its reproduction of the color and appearance, as well as provide progressive workflows to the production industry. Panasonic offers this camera in different versions: Varicam Pure (generates RAW files for ultrafiables capture units of Codex), Varicam LT (with sensor with two native ISO settings, from 800 to 5000 and an EF mount), Varicam 35 (incorporates a new super 35 mm MOS image sensor and the family of codecs of video AVC-Ultra) and Varicam HS (with 3 MOS sensors of 2/3 (objective of continuous recording and bayonet adapter 240 fps.)

Tommie Ferreras, director of photography for the AEC, will talk about the science of color and the singular richness of nuances of the Varicam. It will show examples of the versatility of the differentiated curve in different situations and the creative possibilities of the only team in the world that boasts work with sensitivity Dual ISO 800/5000.

Meanwhile, Pedro Mart nez, Visual Effect Manager of bicycle, display possibilities in postproduction with images shot with the Varicam puree 4 raw K and etanoladas by the colourful Luis Ochoa.
