South African band Die Antwoord have just released a new single to announce their return. The release of the single Reanimated' happens at the same time as the announcements for their 2024 EU/UK tour, which has so far seen the band selling out shows locations like London and Berlin.

A documentary called ZEF is also set to be released, featuring footage from the band's personal life like the birth of their daughter, Sixteen Jones.

The band has been the subject of a lot of controversy, with some commenters on the internet calling for a total boycott of the band's music.

DIE ANTWOORD release Reanimated' single for 2023 Die Antwoord's new single called Reanimated' has been released through their official social media channels, and already has more than 150, 000 hits on Instagram.

The song features band member o-landi Vi$$er with classic horror movie visuals, featuring what resembles a graphic face transplant.

Release of the song coincides with the band's 2024 tour annoucement and documentary trailer, but also dropped at the same time as the band member's birthday.

DIE ANTWOORD: A brief history of the band Die Antwoord is a band self-described as zef, a subculture that combines stylistlic elements and traditional kitsch'.

The band is fronted by o-landi and Ninja Watkin Tudor Jones, who have become known for their fast lyric delivery and sometimes controversial lyrics.
Several songs released in 2022, including Babaji - which features a mixture of South African languages set to chanting.
What about the tour? The band have also announced their accompanying EU/UK tour for 2024.
While some commenters online are calling for a boycott of the band, this seems to have had little impact on the ticket sales. Most of the shows posted on their Facebook page have already been sold out, with some venues adding additional tour dates to keep up.
