New Agreement Provides Substance and Credibility to Ratings with Nielsen's Independent Measurement
New York, NY, Lakeville, MN-Adams Radio Group has entered into a new five-year agreement with Nielsen to provide ratings for its clusters in Fort Wayne, Las Cruces, Salisbury-Ocean City and Tallahassee. Adams was previously utilizing Nielsen ratings in Fort Wayne and Salisbury-Ocean City and Eastlan Ratings in Las Cruces and Tallahassee. The renewal began at the start of July 2018.
President and CEO of Adams Radio Ron Stone says, We are very pleased to extend our relationship with Nielsen. As we have seen in the markets where we were already collaborators, Nielsen makes a significant difference in driving revenue. It is not always just about the ratings product. We use Nielsen research frequently and find that often the independent research we have access to adds substance and credibility about our industry and makes the impact needed to close more business.
We are pleased to have renewed our agreement with Adams Radio Group, said Brad Kelly, Managing Director, Nielsen Audio. This agreement is emblematic of the respect and trust that exists between Nielsen and Adams Radio Group. We believe that our measurement services will enable Adams Radio Group to tell the most comprehensive audience story to their advertisers to maximize their ad revenue.
