Big Blue Marble (#5.A63) will demonstrate how its integrated technology and operational expertise help media companies scale premium services with less complexity and risk
Big Blue Marble will return to IBC2026, taking place in Amsterdam from 11-14 September 2026, where it will present its new AI-assisted capabilities for detecting and investigating content piracy alongside its broadcast-grade streaming and cloud media portfolio.
At stand 5.A63, broadcasters, content owners, service providers and network operators will see how Big Blue Marble brings together media delivery, content protection and managed platform operations to address three connected priorities: delivering premium services reliably at scale, protecting high-value content and modernizing infrastructure without disrupting existing operations. Recent deployments include supporting ORFs cloud-based distribution of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, where Big Blue Marble engineered and operated the infrastructure that securely delivered live feeds to around 80 broadcast and public viewing destinations across Austria while using AI-assisted monitoring to help operations teams identify potential issues before they affected viewers.
Broadcast-grade streaming across cloud, IP and broadcast
At IBC2026, Big Blue Marble will showcase its Cloud Video Kit, TV as a Service (TVaaS) and modular streaming architecture, as well as how they enable customer to launch, operate and scale live and on-demand video services. Cloud Video Kit combines video processing, packaging, playback, analytics and content protection within a flexible platform that can be deployed end-to-end or integrated into existing media environments.
The company will also preview AI-assisted workflow capabilities including automated reframing of 16:9 feeds into 9:16 vertical formats for mobile and social platforms, live multilingual captioning and automated highlight creation. These are designed to help media companies create additional viewing formats and audience touchpoints from existing live content while reducing manual production work.
At IBC2026, we will show what broadcast-grade streaming means in reality: services designed to scale reliably during high-value live events while fitting the operational environment a customer already has, said Michael Wagenhofer, Group CEO at Big Blue Marble. We combine that technology with the engineering expertise and long-term operational support customers need to modernize without compromising service reliability or content security.
European engineering and integrated security for premium content Big Blue Marble will also introduce new AI-assisted offerings from within its Content Protection Suite. AI-fraud detection analyses behavioral data across multiple protection layers, including DRM, Concurrent Access Protection and forensic watermarking, to identify sophisticated piracy patterns, credential sharing and unauthorized content redistribution that would be difficult to detect from individual systems alone. Rather than requiring operators to manually investigate multiple log files, the AI correlates evidence, identifies suspicious behavior and provides clear explanations to help accelerate investigations. By combining AI-fraud detection with integrated enforcement across all protection layers and content delivery, the Content Protection Suite helps broadcasters move from detecting piracy to taking enforcement action more quickly and efficiently.
Visitors will also see an AI-assisted forensic watermarking workflows that analyzes a recording obtained from a suspected pirate stream and helps trace it to the subscriber or session from which the content originated. Together with multi-DRM, Concurrent Access Protection and forensic watermarking, these new capabilities create a unified content protection workflow spanning detection and investigation through to enforcement.
A trusted partner for transformation and growth Beyond technology demonstrations, Big Blue Marble will show how its engineering and operations teams support customers from architecture and migration through deployment, monitoring, operation and ongoing optimization. Building on ORSs long-standing broadcast and satellite expertise, the company helps customers modernize their media operations, while InsysGO and its Professional Services team provide the operational support needed to deploy, manage, and optimize resilient IP and cloud workflows over the long term.
Media infrastructure cannot be treated as a one-off technology deployment, said Krzysztof Bartkowski, CEO, Big Blue Marble Streaming & Cloud Media. Customers need a partner they can trust - one who understands the operational consequences of every architecture decision and remains accountable after launch. We operate the platforms and services we sell, so our recommendations are grounded in real delivery experience, and we remain alongside our customers as their operational and commercial requirements change.
Visitors can see demonstrations of Cloud Video Kit, InsysGO, TV as a Service, the Content Protection Suite, and Big Blue Marble's cloud media capabilities at stand 5.A63 during IBC2026, 11-14 September 2026, at the RAI Amsterdam.
