La Fran aise d'Images tend son usage de MatrixStore, une plateforme de cloud priv orient e m dia d velopp e par Object Matrix, pour h berger et s curiser l'int gralit de son patrimoine audiovisuel.
La Fran aise d'Images, filiale d di e aux activit s audiovisuelles du principal op rateur fran ais de jeux de loterie, est en charge de la r alisation, de la post-production et de la diffusion des jeux op r s par son actionnaire.
La croissance du catalogue de contenus g rer ainsi que les nouvelles demandes des m tiers en interne ont n cessit la mise en place d'une solution permettant de rechercher du mat riel facilement pour une exploitation imm diate. Le dispositif d'archivage existant n' tait plus adapt pour faire face une telle augmentation des volumes traiter. Il est apparu imp ratif de s'orienter vers une solution particuli rement scalable, haut niveau de s curit et offrant un acc s instantan aux m dias.
Apr s une premi re exp rience fructueuse avec MatrixStore pour le stockage nearline de production, la Fran aise d'Images a choisi d' tendre son utilisation l'int gralit de son patrimoine audiovisuel. L'int grateur VIDELIO Cap'Cin , ayant contribu avec succ s la mise en uvre initiale, a t retenu pour mener ce nouveau projet.
MatrixStore, de la soci t Object Matrix, est un cloud priv orient m dia dont les int r ts sont repr sent s en France par IVORY. Cette solution, pionni re du stockage objet et int grant de l'IA, est particuli rement s curis e et volutive. MatrixStore s'int gre facilement l'infrastructure existante au travers de son API adapt e l'industrie m dia et permet ainsi de rationaliser les infrastructures de stockage pour assurer la pr servation et la protection des contenus tout au long de leur cycle de vie.
MatrixStore a initialement t mis en place sur le site de production de Boulogne-Billancourt pour offrir un stockage parking s curis aux quipes de production. Depuis, les capacit s ont t augment es pour devenir le coffre-fort num rique de l'entreprise, au c ur de la strat gie patrimoniale de la Fran aise d'Images, avec la mise en place de deux clusters MatrixStore distants qui se synchronisent d sormais avec la fonction native pr vue cet effet.

nous tions la recherche d'une solution fiable et scalable pour num riser notre fond patrimonial sur cassettes et optimiser nos co ts d'exploitation. Notre premi re exp rience avec MatrixStore tait ind niablement un succ s. Il s'agit d'une offre rare qui combine un niveau tr s lev de s curit et de flexibilit associ une API orient e m dia. Conduire sereinement ce type de projets strat giques d'entreprise n cessite de pouvoir se fier pleinement la solution retenue, c'est pourquoi nous n'avons pas h sit choisir MatrixStore. .
Bas sur la technologie objet, MatrixStore offre un acc s instantan l'int gralit de l'archive et n cessite peu d'actes de maintenance. La Fran aise d'Images, avec MatrixStore et l'accompagnement de VIDELIO Cap'Cin , est d sormais entre de bonnes mains pour appr hender sereinement son projet d'archivage de l'int gralit de l'h ritage audiovisuel de l'entreprise.
