With SiOL to the UEFA Champions League final in London Ljubljana, 16 May Telekom Slovenije handed out the grand prize in the prize competition it held on Facebook and the SiOL GOOOL app on SiOL TV's website (https://apps.facebook.com/siol-goool) during the UEFA Champions League. The award a trip for two with tickets to the final match of the 2012 2013 Champions League on 25 May in London was given to Jacob Mlakar.
The rules of the game were to successfully predict the most results for UEFA Champions League matches, from qualifications all the way up to the quarterfinal in the knockout rounds, via the SiOL goal app, as well as answer questions before, during, and after certain games during the campaign. More than 6,200 users took part in the prize competition, predicting the results of almost 30,000 games. Among the hundreds who answered the same amount of questions successfully, the draw went to Jakob Mlakar.
Jacob expressed his enthusiasm when Telekom Slovenije's Marketing Director Simon Furlan handed him his award, saying: Of course I'm thrilled to have won; I've never had a chance to see such a big football match before. I'm a Real Madrid fan, myself, but, what can you do? The friend I'm taking with me and I still haven't decided who we're going to be rooting for, but we're sure we're going to see a world class footballing spectacle, worthy of the most prestigious football league on the planet.
