Network to Feature Nearly 60 Live Summer League Games in 14 Days

Vince Carter to Return as Guest Analyst for NBA TV's Coverage in Orlando

NBA TV's summer league coverage - the first opportunity to see many of the NBA's top rookies in action - will feature nearly 60 live game telecasts in 14 days beginning Saturday, July 1. The network's schedule - including live game telecasts from all three Summer League locations - will feature a matchup of the first and third overall picks in this year's NBA Draft when the Philadelphia 76ers and Markelle Fultz face the Boston Celtics and Jayson Tatum, on Monday, July 3, at 7 p.m. ET.

Live event coverage will include 20 games from the Mountain Dew Orlando Pro Summer League 2017 (July 1-6), held at the Orlando Magic's practice facility at Amway Center, and six games in Salt Lake City (July 3-6) from the 2017 Utah Jazz Summer League. The network will also present 30 live game telecasts of NBA Summer League 2017 from Las Vegas from July 7-14 - with many of the top 10 selections from the 2017 NBA Draft expected to compete - at the Thomas & Mack Center and COX Pavilion.

NBA TV's star-studded commentator roster will be on site throughout Summer League. Matt Winer and Rick Kamla will share play-by-play responsibilities in Orlando with analysts Greg Anthony, Stu Jackson and eight-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter, who will be serving as a guest analyst for the network for the second straight year. Casey Stern, Pete Pranica, Joel Meyers and Winer will each provide play-by-play for select games in Las Vegas with a lineup of analysts including Hall of Famer Isiah Thomas, Kenny Smith, Steve Smith, Brent Barry and Richard Rip Hamilton and reporters Kristen Ledlow, Dennis Scott, Jared Greenberg and Ros Gold-Onwude.

The latest news and player movement from the league's free agency period will also be featured during daily studio coverage. The Starters, NBA TV's collective of fan-focused voices, will offer a 30-minute recap show following each night's final game from Las Vegas, July 7-11. Co-hosts J.E. Skeets and Tas Melas, and contributors Trey Kerby and Leigh Ellis will offer nightly highlights, news and information, along with interviews with players and coaches from NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. The network's signature studio show, NBA GameTime, will feature live episodes following each day's last game of the night, July 12-17.

Eight Teams Tip Off Orlando Summer League on Saturday, July 1

The first day of Summer League in Orlando will feature eight teams and six NBA lottery picks expected in action for their first professional games in Orlando - beginning with the Charlotte Hornets facing the Miami Heat and No. 14 pick Bam Adebayo on Saturday, July 1 at 11 a.m. ET. The day's quadruple-header coverage will also feature the Orlando Magic vs. Indiana Pacers and No. 18 pick T.J. Leaf at 1 p.m., followed by the New York Knicks vs. Dallas Mavericks and No. 9 selection Dennis Smith, Jr. at 3 p.m. and the Oklahoma City Thunder and Terrance Ferguson (selected 21st overall) vs. Detroit Pistons and No. 12 pick Luke Kennard at 5 p.m.

Three Daily Games from Orlando, July 2-5

Following Saturday's four game opening slate, three games will be showcased daily from Orlando, July 2-5. Orlando Summer League concludes with four games on Thursday, July 6 - 8th place vs. 7th place at 8 a.m., 6th place vs. 5th place at 10 a.m., 4th place vs. 3rd place at Noon and 2nd place vs. 1st place at 2 p.m.

Utah Jazz Summer League Schedule Highlighted by First Meeting of 76ers vs. Celtics - July 3

The first of three days of Utah Jazz Summer League action will tip off with a doubleheader including the first summer league meeting between the 76ers and Celtics - owners of the first (Fultz) and third overall picks (Tatum) in this year's NBA Draft - on Monday, July 3, at 7 p.m. The Jazz with Donovan Mitchell, 13th overall (acquired in a trade from Denver) and Tony Bradley (28th overall, acquired from the Lakers) vs. San Antonio Spurs (Derrick White, 29th overall) will follow at 9 p.m.

NBA Summer League 2017 in Las Vegas Tips Off with Raptors/Pelicans, Friday, July 7, at 6 p.m. ET

NBA TV will present the first game of NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, with the Toronto Raptors taking on the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday, July 7, at 6 p.m. The network's coverage will continue with the Brooklyn Nets (Jarrett Allen, 22nd overall) vs. Atlanta Hawks (John Collins, 19th overall) at 8 p.m., followed by the Houston Rockets vs. the Denver Nuggets (Tyler Lydon, 24th overall - acquired from Utah) at 10 p.m.

Top-5 Selections Lonzo Ball and De'Aaron Fox to Face Off on Monday, July 10

The Los Angeles Lakers, No. 2 overall pick Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma (No. 27 overall, acquired from Brooklyn) and Josh Hart (No. 30 overall, acquired from Utah) will face the Sacramento Kings, No. 5 selection De'Aaron Fox and Justin Jackson (15th overall) and Harry Giles (20th overall) - both acquired in a trade with Portland - on Monday, July 10, at 10:30 p.m. in Las Vegas. Earlier in the night, the Phoenix Suns and No. 4 overall pick Josh Jackson will face the Rockets at 6:30 p.m.
