Con una mezcla de romance, comedia y mucha emoci n, Sol Naciente (working title) es un lanzamiento m s de Globo para el NATPE 2017. La telenovela cuenta la improbable historia de amor entre dos amigos de la infancia ligados por una complicidad que supera generaciones. La ficticia Arraial do Sol Nascente, una ciudad costera tur stica y encantadora, llena de playas paradis acas, mucho movimiento, romance y un crisol de culturas y etnias de Brasil, es el escenario de esta historia de amor.
Las familias Tanaka y De Angeli, pese a sus or genes distintos de un lado japoneses, del otro italianos comparten una amistad que comenz hace m s de 50 a os en una estaci n de tren, a la llegada de los inmigrantes a Brasil. En la historia, Alicia (Giovanna Antonelli, Reglas Del Juego ) es hija de crianza del japon s Kazuo Tanaka (Lu s Melo, Rastros de Mentiras ); mientras que Mario (Bruno Gagliasso, Mujeres Ambiciosas ) es nieto del matrimonio italiano Geppina (Aracy Balabanian, Hombre Nuevo ) y Gaetano (Francisco Cuoco, Boogie Oogie: El Baile de la Vida ). Pese a tener edades y estilos de vida muy diferentes, los dos han crecido juntos y han cultivado una amistad tan fuerte como la de sus familias. Cuando Alicia decide alejarse un tiempo para estudiar en Jap n, Mario descubre sus verdaderos sentimientos y le surge una inesperada pasi n por su amiga de la infancia. Decidido a vivir ese romance, el joven descendiente de italianos har todo lo que est a su alcance para conquistarla. Pero este romance se encuentra con un obst culo m s: el manipulador Cesar (Rafael Cardoso, Imperio ) que conspira para alejar a Alicia de Mario.
Adem s de este tri ngulo amoroso, la telenovela cuenta con otras historias y otros personajes que conviven en la soleada y colorida Arraial do Sol Nascente. Italianos, japoneses, roqueros, motociclistas, surfistas y una comunidad de pescadoras se encuentran y se mezclan. Esta diversidad de culturas, sabores y estilos, caracteriza la esencia del pueblo brasile o, pa s mestizo que logra combinar, en un solo lugar, gran diversidad y simpat a.
Para construir ese universo imaginario, cada n cleo tuvo que prestar especial atenci n a los detalles. Desde los colores y los elementos de decoraci n, hasta los alimentos y el vestuario fueron pensados y destacados en las escenas para crear un universo diversificado y rico en detalles.
