Red Bee and EVS have become the latest companies to withdraw from this year's NAB Show.

Red Bee said it is taking all possible measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees, customers and partners, as well as safeguarding the integrity of its mission critical service delivery.

Red Bee Media CEO Steve Nylund added: Withdrawing from NAB this year was not an easy decision since it's a great opportunity for us to connect with the industry and showcase our innovation, but we have to put the health and safety of our employees, customers and partners first.

As a managed services provider to some of the biggest broadcasters and media brands in the industry, we also have to minimise the risk of introducing the virus on any of our sites, in order to safeguard the continuity of our service delivery.

With travel restrictions and other safety measures already in place, we now have to get creative and explore alternative ways of connecting with current and potential customers around the globe, he added.

EVS also confirmed it will not be attending the show, having made the decision as a precautionary measure to mitigate the health and safety risk for everyone involved.

Serge Van Herck, CEO at EVS said: NAB is a key milestone for us every year. We take pride in showcasing our new solutions there and meeting up with our customers, partners and prospects, so it has been a very tough decision to make.

Like many other exhibitors, EVS said it is currently working on a plan to introduce its new products and solutions and to remain engaged with the NAB community.
