Even More Action: Netflix Releases The First Images From The Second Season of Criminal Code

S o Paulo, April 9, 2025 - On Wednesday, April 9, Netflix revealed the first images from the second season of Criminal Code, its first true crime Brazilian police action series. Suellen (Maeve Jinkings), Ben cio (R mulo Braga), Sem Alma (Thom s Aquino), Isaac (Alex Nader) and other characters return for more breathtaking scenes.

The first season of Criminal Code won over Brazil and the world with its complex investigative plot and explosive action scenes. In its first week in 2023, it reached number 1 in Netflixs Top 10 Non-English Shows in both Brazil and globally, totaling over 6 million views. During this same period, it was the most viewed series in 22 countries and made the Top 10 in 71 countries, including the United States, Canada, Italy, Spain and Portugal. In Brazil, it remained the most watched national series through the second half of 2023, and one of the most viewed productions in 2024.

In the new episodes, after helping the Ambassador escape from prison, Isaac and his Phantom Gang become the Federal Polices main targets. Increasingly sophisticated robberies turn them into crime legends - and going after them will demand everything from the agents. During the challenging investigation, Suellen will have to prove herself as a leader. Meanwhile, Ben cio experiences a crisis after losing yet another friend, and discovering that Sem Alma escaped from prison.

Produced by Parano d, the second season of Criminal Code, debuting this year, was created by Heitor Dhalia, who is also its overall director, with episodes directed by Pedro Morelli and Felipe Vellas, and is produced by Manoel Rangel and Egisto Betti. The main cast includes R mulo Braga, Maeve Jinkings, Pedro Caetano, Thomas Aquino, Alex Nader, Daniel Blanco, Let cia Tomazella and Jorge Paz.
