Blancco to Showcase Innovative Data Erasure Solutions at InfoSec World

Blancco to Showcase Innovative Data Erasure Solutions at InfoSec World - Apr 11 2013 Global data security champion will feature best practices for mitigating risks of data leaks from mobile devices

Atlanta, Georgia, April 11, 2013 Blancco, the global leader in data erasure and computer reuse solutions, will showcase its innovations and data privacy expertise at InfoSec World Conference and Expo 2013, MIS Training Institute's flagship event on issues surrounding security threats faced by CIOs, CSOs and IT security personnel. The conference and exhibit are scheduled for April 15-17 at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin in Orlando, Florida.

An internationally recognized champion and expert in data privacy and security, Blancco will spotlight Blancco Mobile, a data erasure solution for mobile devices, at InfoSec World Booth #406.

The use of smartphones and tablets is skyrocketing, and risks of data leaks increase every day, said Markku Willgren, President of Blancco's US Operations. Restoring factory settings does not remove all data, potentially leaving sensitive information that may be easily recovered. Our solution is proving itself time and again to offer the most secure and efficient data erasure for mobile devices, with audit-ready reports for regulatory-compliant data security.

Blancco Mobile supports the iOS (iPhones & iPads), Android, BlackBerry, Nokia Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms. It is approved by T V S D, one of the worlds leading technical service organizations. Also at the booth, visitors can receive a white paper on best practices for data erasure from mobile devices and pick up a copy of the first edition of Blancco's educational newsletter, Data Erasure News.
