OConnor Intro's O-Box-WM Mattebox Deluxe Package and Tools for Blackmagic and Sony F5/F55 02 Apr 2013
OConnor, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company announces new products to be introduced in NAB 2013 booth C6425. The line-up includes additions to their growing range of top quality camera/lens accessories as well as famous OConnor feel fluid head and tripod systems featuring the 1030D and 1030Ds which both offer seamless transitions from heavier to lighter payload camera setups, such as the RED Scarlet, Blackmagic Cinema, Canon C300 and C500 and Sony F5/F55.
Universal Rings for O-Box WM Creates Deluxe Package
The new O-Box WM Mattebox Deluxe Package introduces a new level of out of the box functionality with OConnor's innovative Universal Rings. The new Universal Rings are made of a seamless, high-tech material so a single ring can now flex over a variety of lens diameters from 150mm to 55mm. Adding these new-concept rings to the popular, lightweight, 2-stage mattebox creates a versatile package for today's shooter who works with a range of lenses.
Camera Accessories Matched for Blackmagic Cinema Camera
The versatility of the OConnor accessory family allows each of the OConnor accessories the Universal Camera Baseplate, O-Focus Dual Mini Follow Focus, O-Box WM Mattebox and O-Grips handgrips to line up and interface seamlessly with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera right out of the box.
Support and Lens Accessories for Sony F5/F55
OConnor is meeting the challenges of support and lens accessories for Sony's F5 and F55 cameras whether they are set up with large or small lenses. Outfitted minimally with a simple prime lens and viewfinder, the cameras are in the perfect weight range for OConnor's 1030D and 1030Ds fluid heads. Built-up with large zoom lenses and cine accessories, such as the OConnor CFF-l Follow Focus, the 2575D, is ideal.
For 15mm LWS cine setups the path to mounting the myriad of standard accessories available in the cine industry to the F5 and F55 cameras is no further away than OConnor's Universal Baseplate. For these smaller setups OConnor offers the O-Focus Dual Mini (DM), a compact, double-sided direct drive follow focus system with a Cine Set configuration that utilizes the CFF-1 Studio Handwheel. For light control for compact setups, there's OConnor's O-Box WM 2-stage mattebox, with integrated handgrip interfaces. And for convenient handheld work, users can simply add on the O-Grip handles.
