Ultimate Star Search 2022 announces champion with RM10,000 cash prize

Following stiff competition between nine finalists, Vikneswari A/P Subramaniam was announced the winner of Ultimate Star Search 2022 during the grand finale yesterday at Agenda Suria Shopping Carnival, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, beginning her a career as a TV or radio host and taking home a RM10,000 cash prize.

Prem Anand, Vice President, Indian Customer Business, Astro, said, As we remain steadfast in our commitment to create more opportunities for local talents, we are pleased that Ultimate Star Search 2022 empowered more aspiring local hosts and announcers to showcase their skills at the three walk-in auditions. We congratulate Vikneswari A/P Subramaniam on her well deserved success, and all finalists for their efforts.

Vikneswari A/P Subramaniam, Champion, Ultimate Star Search 2022, said, It was a tough competition among the talented contestants. I am very happy to be the winner of Ultimate Star Search 2022 despite the challenges faced. The nine finalists were shortlisted from walk-in auditions held at three locations including Johor Bahru, Penang and Kuala Lumpur from 8 September to 15 October.
