Upgrade your sound experience with optional subwoofers and rear speakers
Calibrate and adapt sound to suit your room by using Sound Field Optimization
Experience an immersive audio-visual experience when connected to a BRAVIA TV with Acoustic Centre Sync
Sony today introduces the flagship soundbar HT-A7000, that lets you discover a whole new level of immersion. Surround yourself in absolute realism.
Supreme surround sound
The HT-A7000 has 7.1.2 channels, two up-firing speakers for overhead sound, two beam tweeters and five front speakers for wider surround and a built-in dual subwoofer for deep bass. Coupled with Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force PRO Front Surround, the HT-A7000 creates virtual surround sound that comes from all around you so you can fully enjoy the thrill of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X .
Thanks to Sony's Vertical Surround Engine, the HT-A7000 can position sound in vertical space so you can experience overhead sound without the need for in-ceiling speakers. As well as S-Force Pro Front Surround, it virtually produces the surround sound field with audio coming at you from both sides.
Sophisticated speaker technology
The HT-A7000 comes with two up-firing speakers that reflect sound off the ceiling for overhead sound. The up-firing speakers, when combined with the Vertical Surround Engine, gives an even more atmospheric overhead sound experience.
Beam tweeters bounce sound off the side walls and expand the surround sound to give you an immersive experience that goes beyond the size of your TV. When this is combined with S-Force PRO Front Surround it gives you even wider surround sound for a fully immersive experience.
The up-firing speakers, built-in subwoofer and front speakers feature an X-Balanced Speaker Unit in a unique rectangular shape to maximise the area of the speaker diaphragm, as well increasing the sound pressure for punchier bass and greater vocal clarity.
Immerse yourself in supreme music, film and game quality
With the HT-A7000, your music comes to life like never before. Discover a new way of listening with 360 Reality Audio[1][2] that offers a truly immersive live concert or studio session experience. You can enjoy 360 Reality Audio on Amazon Music HD, Deezer, nugs.net and TIDAL[3]. Or enjoy music the way the artists truly intended thanks to High-Resolution Audio for crystal clear precision.
The HT-A7000 features DSEE ExtremeTM, which uses Edge-AI to allow for real-time restoration of all your compressed digital music files to restore the high-range sound that is lost in compression for a richer, more complete listening experience.
When it comes to movies and gaming, the HT-A7000 creates vivid scenes full of real-life colour and depth. All of the original picture quality is preserved when played through the HT-A7000 so you'll be completely immersed in movies. Gaming and movies are much more thrilling and realistic as HT-A7000 supports all the latest formats such as 8K HDR, 4K120 and Dolby Vision.
Go deeper with an optional subwoofer and rear speakers
For even deeper bass, add an optional wireless subwoofer. Having two types of subwoofer allows the built-in subwoofer in the HT-A7000 to handle bass and vocals with the optional wireless subwoofer focusing on low range sound. For rich bass, add the SA-SW5 subwoofer with 300W of deep, rich bass from a 180mm driver with passive radiator. Or, opt for the SA-SW3 subwoofer with 200W of sound from a compact bass reflex subwoofer with a 160mm driver. For even more cinematic thrills with sound directly behind you, add the SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers with a total 100W of wider surround sound and wall mount capability.
Surround sound perfect for your room
The HT-A7000 includes built-in microphones that do all the work for you to give you perfect surround sound for your room. Also, there's no need to precisely place speakers. Sound Field Optimization intelligently measure the height and width of the room, as well as the position of the optional subwoofer and rear speakers and optimises the sound to perfectly to your room layout. The HT-A7000 lets you enjoy Sound Field Optimization with or without optional speakers and is easy to use just activate it from the initial settings or the home menu.
Best with Sony TVs
When connected to a BRAVIA TV[4] with Acoustic Centre Sync using the supplied cable, both the soundbar and the TV become the centre speaker in your home cinema system. This enables you to hear dialogue from exactly where the character is standing in the scene. Action and sound are precisely aligned so your viewing becomes much more immersive.
With an integrated UI, soundbar settings automatically appear on the BRAVIA TVs Quick settings menu for easy control of sound modes, sound field and volume[5].
Omnidirectional Block Design
The HT-A7000 and optional speakers have been designed under a common Omnidirectional Block concept for a fully cohesive look. Its sophisticated rounded edges represent a single solid block providing wide-spreading sound. The combination of rich material textures emphasises an affinity with any living room environment.
Enjoy music with the whole family
Easily access popular music services like Spotify and stream all your favourite albums and playlists using Chromecast, Spotify Connect or Apply AirPlay 2 on the HT-A7000. You can stream wirelessly from your smartphone with Bluetooth technology or use the built in Wi-Fi to stream music from your own devices.
Voice Control
The soundbar is compatible with Google Assistant[6] enabled devices with Chromecast built-in and Amazon Alexa enabled devices[7][8]. Just add the HT-A7000 soundbar to your speaker group using the Google Home app to start playing music, change the volum
