
Mediaset Spain increases its profit in the first half by 7% Con un beneficio neto de 125,7 millones, son sus mejores resultados de los ltimos nueve a os entre enero y junio.
Mediaset Espa a ha revalidado su liderazgo entre las compa as de medios m s rentables de Europa en los seis primeros meses de 2017, mejorando sus m rgenes operativos y su beneficio neto con los valores m s altos desde 2008.
En un entorno marcado por una tendencia plana del mercado publicitario en televisi n (-0,1%, seg n Infoadex), Mediaset Espa a ha vuelto a liderar la inversi n con una cuota de mercado del 43,2%, casi un punto por delante de Atresmedia (42,3%).
Los ingresos publicitarios brutos de los medios de Mediaset Espa a han alcanzado los 491,1 millones de euros replicando la cifra obtenida en el primer semestre de 2016, per odo en el que se produjo la retransmisi n de 18 partidos de la Eurocopa, lo que impide establecer una comparativa homog nea en t rminos de ingresos por publicidad. Un resultado particularmente brillante, a n m s teniendo en cuenta la evoluci n de mercado publicitario en el segundo trimestre.
Incluyendo ventas de publicidad para otros medios (10 millones) y las comisiones, los ingresos netos de publicidad alcanzaron los 480,6 millones. La facturaci n neta total, que incluye 28 millones de otros ingresos no publicitarios, ha sido en este periodo de 508,5 millones.
Mediaset Espa a ha reducido este semestre un 6,0% sus costes operativos totales hasta los 345,3 millones, frente a los 367,5 millones registrados en enero-junio de 2016.
El EBITDA se ha situado en 168,0 millones, lo que representa un margen sobre ingresos netos totales del 33,0% y un incremento de 5,0% (8 millones) respecto al mismo periodo de 2016. El margen operativo EBIT ha sido de 159,2 millones, un 6,1% m s que en el mismo periodo de 2016, lo que implica un margen sobre ingresos totales del 31,3%. Tanto el EBITDA como el EBIT suponen la cifra m s alta de la compa a en los seis primeros meses del a o desde que comenzara la crisis econ mica y la consiguiente ca da del mercado publicitario en 2008.
Mediaset Espa a ha obtenido un beneficio neto de 125,7 millones, un 6,8% superior a los 117,7 millones obtenidos en el primer semestre de 2016 (+8 millones). Este resultado representa un margen sobre ingresos totales del 24,7% y un beneficio de 0,38 por acci n.
Tras el pago de 175,7 millones de dividendo y 25,4 millones por la recompra de acciones propias, se ha confirmado una vez m s la fortaleza del balance, del Grupo, que muestraal cierre de junio una posici n financiera neta positiva de 117,9 millones. Mediaset Espa a ha generado un free cash flow de 138,9M en la primera mitad del a o, lo que representa un 82% del EBITDA del primer semestre.
Por lo que respecta al segundo trimestre de 2017, Mediaset Espa a ha alcanzado unos ingresos netos totales de 268,1M con un beneficio neto de 65,1 millones. Su posici n como l der del mercado se ha refrendado con una cuota de mercado publicitario del 43,1%, en base a datos de Infoadex.
Los ingresos netos totales han sido de 268,1 millones, con unos costes operativos de 181,1 millones. El EBITDA, de 86,9 millones, representa un margen del 32,4% sobre ingresos netos totales, dato que mejora en casi dos puntos el margen conseguido en los meses de abril, mayo y junio del a o anterior.
Television
El conjunto de canales de Mediaset Espa a (29,2%) han refrendado su liderazgo en el primer semestre. Han sido la referencia en el target comercial (30,7%), prime time (28,7%), day time (29,5%) y en todos los segmentos de edad, con especial atenci n a j venes de 13-24 a os (35,2%) y 25-34 a os (32,8%).
Telecinco (13,8%), canal m s visto en este periodo por sexto a o consecutivo. Tambi n ha sido l der del prime time (14%) y de day time (13,8%).
Cuatro (6,2%), tercera cadena privada en target comercial (7,3%). En este segmento de la audiencia, el m s atractivo para los anunciantes, tambi n se impone a su competidor en prime time (8,1%), day time (6,9%) y late night (8,5%). El resto de sus canales obtuvieron un 3% (Factor a de Ficci n), 2,3% (Divinity), 2% (Energy), 1,3% (Boing), y 0,5% (Be Mad).
El conjunto de webs de Mediaset Espa a ha logrado en el primer semestre un promedio mensual de 11,9 millones de usuarios nicos, con un incremento del 11,7% respecto al mismo periodo de 2016. Adem s, ha afianzado su liderazgo entre todos los medios de comunicaci n espa oles en consumo de v deo desktop con 427 millones de reproducciones, un 7,7% m s que Atresmedia. A nivel global en Espa a se sit a en sexto puesto, s lo superado por grandes plataformas multinacionales como Google, Facebook, VEVO, Warner Music y BroadbandTV.
