Eutelsat Renews Antik Telecom and A1 Partnership at 16 East

Eutelsat has renewed its partnership with Antik Sat, the direct-to-home (DTH) television platform operated by Antik Telecom, and A1, a communications provider in Central and Eastern Europe. The new multi-transponder agreement covers television services for households in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

Eutelsat will continue to provide satellite capacity at its 16 East orbital position, which carries hundreds of television channels and reaches more than 80 million DTH, cable and IPTV homes across the region. A1 will provide headend hosting, uplink and associated broadcast services, and Antik Sat will use the platform to serve its subscriber base.
