Process Solution Award for the fully digital process documentation of the collection

Arvato Systems and Arvato Financial Solutions won the Process Solution Award 2017 in the Process-oriented Solutions category

(Arvato Systems) G tersloh - As a globally active financial services provider, Arvato Financial Solutions is focusing on a proprietary collection system for claims processing. In 2016, together with its affiliate Arvato Systems, the financial services provider initiated an innovative project for transparent digital documentation that is updated on a daily basis. This project has now been distinguished with the Process Solution Award by the Gesellschaft f r Organisation (gfo).

How can operational processes be organized so that companies can operate successfully in global competition? This is an essential question for service providers like Arvato Financial Solutions. The answer? Continuous development and improvement of processes. The significant use of resources required for the manual documentation of system collection processes became the starting point for the project "Execution to Model", which focuses on automatic process inquiry and visualization. It was particularly important for Arvato Financial Solutions to create transparency through increasingly complex processes. This is the only way that systems can be operated over the long term and at a minimum cost. As a result, the company can react more quickly to customer requests and implement these requests more flexibly.

The joint project of the Arvato Systems Group tangibly incorporates the automatic 1st documentation of process and event plans and the recording of business processes. The globally active IT specialist Arvato Systems supported this digitalization project through the application of the BIC Platform , a BPM suite (Business Process Management) and its own technical expertise. Through the installation of a methodical model comparison, Arvato Systems has created the opportunity for mandatory digi-tal process approval using an innovative auto-layout and nightly preparation of process and event plans. An additional advantage is that every employee has, at any given time, an overview of the cur-rent status of the processes relevant to their job.

Volker Bornh ft, Managing Director of Collection Deutschland at Arvato Financial Solutions, emphasizes: "Being current, ensuring readability, and maintaining proximity to traditional business processes were particularly important to us. With this project we achieved true process transparency and standardization across multiple locations and were able to substantially reduce manual research efforts. Through diminished expenditures in visual process modeling and reduced requirements for inquiries and coordination, we can attain higher implementation rates in process adjustment. I see it as acknowledgment that our strategic orientation in the field of IT and process transparency for this solution has been honored with a renowned award."

Dr. Oliver Becker, Director of Enterprise Solutions at Arvato Systems, is also delighted with the award: "With this unparalleled and innovative approach, for the first time it is possible to automatically gene-rate process documentation from a programmed code. As a result, every process owner in the organization now has the opportunity to stay informed about the execution of their processes virtually in real time. Arvato Financial Solutions and Arvato Systems have won the 2017 Process Solution Award from gfo for their digitalization project in the category "Process Optimized Solutions" for exemplary Business Process Management. The gfo honors innovative and useful BPM projects as part of the annual Process Solutions Day. The event took place for the 12th time on May 3 and 4, 2017. At the largest conference for BPM software solutions in the German-speaking sector, exhibitors will present powerful BPM solutions for modern IT-based process management.
