(12/04/2013) Fremont East Studios, an all-media production studio, opens April 9 and ushers in the capabilities to create cutting-edge, multi-media projects. Located at 221 Las Vegas Blvd. N., neighboring the former City Hall and soon to be home of Zappos.com, the exceptionally well-equipped studio is uniquely poised to serve the growing needs of Downtown Las Vegas' rapidly expanding content, technology and media communities.
The 9,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility plans to offer educational programs with internships, kids' classes and equipment training. Led by Director of Production, Freeman White III, and based on the principles of founder Mimi Pham, Fremont East Studios aims to follow passion and make a successful connection with the community to promote growth and positivity.
The goals of Fremont East Studios are not only to be known for outstanding work in all aspects of media creation, but to serve Las Vegas as an educational hub for those interested in learning while helping to grow the community of artists downtown, said Pham.
Funded by Downtown Project, the downtown Las Vegas revitalization effort being led by Zappos.com CEO Tony Hsieh, Fremont East Studios is the next venture opening that hopes to tap into the positive force working to change the city of Las Vegas.
I am excited about the role that Fremont East Studios will have towards contributing to the growth of the local community, said Hsieh.
The innovative space, former home of government access channel KCLV, received a massive renovation and now includes two sound stages, two control rooms, talent facilities, private and shared production/post-production offices, a media lab/screening room and a fully loaded equipment room allows users to construct work comparable to that of any major production house. Fremont East Studios offers comprehensive production services for a range of projects (commercial, music video, feature, etc.), including development, production operations and logistics, studio lighting, grip and electric, green screen, live streaming, teleporting, multi-cam production (in studio and on location), editing and encoding. Fremont East Studios features live streaming and virtual sets using Tricaster 8000 and elemental encoders, providing the crew a full-functioning, remote production studio.

These partners will round out the service offerings from Fremont East Studios to make it distinctive in the marketplace and ensure its role as a superior all-media studio.
